SUMMARY:

Determines customer requirements and processes orders for Aftermarket Parts (Ipsen Customer Service) in order to satisfy customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to customer inquiries for AMS parts, researching requirements to determine exact replacement parts.
Informs customer of unit pricing, ship date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by customer.
Generates parts orders in Syteline ERP system
Ascertains credit status of customer and works with Accounts Receivable to resolve credit issues or down payment requirements.
Receives and reviews customer complaints in order to resolve customer concerns.
Confers with Production Control, Purchasing or Stockroom to expedite or track orders.
Occasional travel to customer sites for consultation and trade shows.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university strongly preferred. One to two years related experience and/or training required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, blue prints and technical data. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
